I'm removing the AYC system completely so I will write this How-To in 3 stages described here (with the exception of the rear differential removal - I have a separate blog on that here: CN9A Evo IV GSR rear differential removal (with AYC).
Be aware I'm doing this as a part of pulling out the rear diff so I already had my exhaust removed at the axle, and my wheels are off the car. You may need to work around those things a bit if you don't have them off (especially for Stage 2).

Stage 1: AYC Pump Removal
Stage 2: Hoses and reservoir removal
Stage 3: Wiring and ECU removal (to be completed)

You're going to lose lots of fluid (whether you're going to just do the pump or the whole system) so I would recommend you stack up on fluid and do a complete flush of the system (now I don't have instructions on how to flush the pump properly, you'll have to research or take it to a shop that can do it). I'm taking everything out so I drained the diff completely and then the reservoir as well.

Stage 1: AYC Pump Removal

1. Remove the plastic shield.

2. Disconnect the reservoir tubes and let the fluid drain.

3. Unbolt and pull out the hydraulic lines (it will also help if you unbolt the bracket holding the lines to the metal "case" that mounts the pump).

4. Unbolt the metal case (the 4 bolts, the ones with the rubber washers), don't worry it shouldn't drop because it has some brackets holding it in place.

5. Slide out the pump but be careful not to pull the harness (depends how you're doing it make sure you don't just let it drop to the ground you don't wanna wreck your wiring).

And she's out. I'm not taking mine out of the mounting case because I have no purpose for that. Obviously if you're replicating yours you would dismount it completely from the brackets.

Stage 2: Hoses and reservoir removal

1. Unbolt the hydraulic tubes from the diff (I had the diff completely drained at this point so there wasn't much fluid coming out - I would suggest doing the same).

2. Now if you want to pull the hydraulic lines and hoses all together (without disconnecting them from one another) remove the protecting bracket that's under the gasoline fill tube. You don't have to completely pull it out, just to have enough room to pull the thick rubber hoses out; however fun practice - pull it out and see how much crap has accumulated in there! Mine had tons of dirt.

3. There is one more bracket holding the hydraulic tubes right about the mustache bar. With the right extension to you ratchet you should be able to get at it. Mine wasn't too tight so just getting the socket around it slightly I was able to pull it out.

4. Now move around and wiggle the tubes and lines and watch as the remainders of the AYC system try to hold on for dear life as you reminisce all the good times you had together. There is a way to get them out all in one piece, just be patient and think a little ;). Also don't feel too terrible if you need to chop them off or they get damaged. I heard more cases of these things not wanting to come out than I did of them coming out as easy as mine did.

5. Unbolt the 3 bolts holding the reservoir tank.

6. You can do this whichever way you feel (i.e undo the tubes from the tank and them pull them out from the bottom). I pulled the rubber grommet off the tubes then pulled the whole thing through the trunk.

That's it for this stage.

Stage 3: Wiring and ECU removal (to be completed)

I only got as far as pulling the harness from where the pump was located and through to the trunk.
This write-up will be updated and competed as I finish the work.

1. Push the rubber grommet into the frame and pull the wires (gently and carefully) into the trunk area, they should be on the same bunch as the rear light wires.

2. Pretty much at this point you are dealing with a maze of wiring so if you got this far and feel like taking all the wiring out have fun and good luck! I'm deep in it and will pull all the wiring but there is not much to post about it.

3. The AYC ECU lives deep under the dashboard behind the SRS sensor (and some other stuff) and under the gear shift cables. If you're planning on pulling that out that's where you find it. Clearly my dashboard is completely out so I have easy access to it.
When I put my dash back on I will try to remember to double check how difficult (or not) it would be to get at it with the dashboard in place.

If I have any further information worth posting in this section I will be sure to update this blog.
